The manual is wrong - it is, indeed, 8'6". FYI, if memory serves, the 190SD was a few inches narrower - the next size up, the 210SD, would have been 8'6".Thanks Chuck,
I have a 2002 Sea Ray 190 Sundeck that is the same beam distance, this is great so I won't have to reconfigure my boards on the lift. I pulled the 2015_240_SUNDECK_OB_OWNERS_MANUAL and it states 8" 8'? - Go figure
Thanks again!
You can just buy the elastic at West marine and cut your own when you take one apart to see how long it is..... reuse the plastic buttonsI am replacing the Stayput Fasteners on the rear of my canvas cover. Has anyone else done that recently or know which length bungee to get. I the length offered in 6 5/8 and 8”. It’s a 2006 240 Sundeck.
Update:
Trim works fine as long as it's not taken all the way to 24 on trim. At 23, works fine but 24 it sticks and won't go down. Any clue why?
Very Pretty! Welcome to the club.Hey all, I've been lurking here, reading all the past posts. We are upgrading from a '97 185 bowrider to an '07 240 Sundeck. We're super excited and I'm sure I'll post some questions when I pick it up and start going through it figuring out what needs to be replaced or upgraded. The boat is in very good condition though.

View attachment 53495 View attachment 53496 I am searching for a windshield for my 1995 Sea Ray 240 Sundeck. I have attached a picture of mine (IMG_2174.JPG) as well as a couple pictures of one with a windshield (different angles).
I believe the 1995-1999 are the same fit but I’m not for sure. Do you have any idea where I can get one?
Please advise and thanks in advance.

Go to Prop selector/Mercury Marine that will help you find the right prop. B52d 290slxI am trying to figure out better propping for our 240 Sundeck with 5.0MPI and 2.20 Bravo III. We are always boating very light. Two adults, one 4 year old and only light gear. Ours is currently propped with a 22 pitch non-cupped set and tops out at 46.6 mph @5200 rpm on the GPS. I have seen the 240SD with 5.0 propped with 22, 24 and 26 pitch B III props.
What props do you run on your 240SD and have you repropped.
My objective is to get a bit more speed at same RPM. Would love to cruise 30 mph around 3000 rpm.
Help appreciated!
The decals on the side of my 95 sundeck are pretty faded so im looking to take them off and replace them. I tried a local striping store to see if they could make them and they said it would be very expensive. I'm curious if anyone with a 95 to 99 sundeck has removed their stripes or replaced them with something non stock. I would love to see some pictures of boats without the stripes or with something different.
I'm looking into this also. Mine is a 99 with 5.0 EFI Alpha One. The Merc prop selector wasn't much help. Turning Point has a more detailed selector, plus with an option to have them review it. You can also exchange props for $35.00. I waiting to see what they say. The selector said a 14.5 x 15, but this seems small to me since I have a vengeance 14 x 19. I can hit 45mph GPS with only two in the boat and smooth water. Most of the time it's 43mph.Go to Prop selector/Mercury Marine that will help you find the right prop. B52d 290slx
Looking for the detailed Wiring Diagram for the 1995 240 Sundeck. I have recently purchased this boat and would like to investigate some of the wiring alterations that previous owners/shops have done. Any Thoughts? I am not able to find much on the internet.
Congratulations... you just bought the best bow rider on the planet... you are spoiled out of the gate ....have funHi there, I just purchased a 2004 240 SD, my first ever boat! Have been reading many of your posts about these boats which inspired me to go for it. So thank you! I am really excited but also slightly nervous about owning a boat and all that comes with it. Currently she’s in Lake George but I’ll be shipping her to Brooklyn in 2 weeks....Unless anyone thinks that it’s viable with little experience to have her put in at say Troy and sail her down from there? Hopefully get to know some of you in the coming months...
