Saw this in Melbourne, FL this past weekend. Talked to the owner for a few minutes, said he put a diesel genny & fuel tank where the 4.3s were. Wasn't sure if he was on here or not. Anyone know the boat or owner?

Holy moses....that sure makes me feel better about being a "little close" to the load limits on my transom. There must have been some massive structural work done to this thing. Wow...

I thought those were "tippy" even with the iron blocks low in the bilge. It seems like the handling may not be great? But who knows.

The boat is a 270 Sundancer, I know because that was my previous boat. So those OB's are either 225's or 250's. When I had that boat it had twin 4.3 TBI(210HP each) with counter rotating Alpha I Gen II's. I'll say the picture shows the boat sitting exactly how mine sat. I always thought about what genius thought that was how to put the stripes on? I asked the Searay dealer and was told that the stripes on that boat were all put on the same because 95% of that model were single engine 7.4 with Bravo III's and the stripes sat correctly on that boat.
That boat probably performs better underway but I'll bet not so good around the dock. I think it was a smart move if he loves the boat but it must have cost some BIG boat bucks for sure!
My boat handled well but with more than two adults always felt under powered.
