280 Bow Rider / SLX

Now that our relocation plans have firmed up (Moving from Las Vegas NV to Gainesville GA in June) Its time to start looking for our next boat. The new house is right on Lake Lanier, and has a very nice boat dock that demands to be filled.

We've got family and friends in the area, and I expect that we'll have a crowd on most outings, so I've set my sights on a big bow rider. The early 2000s 280 and 290 BR look pretty nice, but so far I've only been able to look at pictures online. Anyone here own one of these?

I've found one I may go take a look at.....Its near Baltimore so I may schedule a stop after my trip to NYC next month. Any chance there any members near Gunpowder Cove in Joppa MD that wouldn't mind giving it a quick look to see if its worth my time?

Any input on this or similar models, as well as any leads on vessels for sale would be much appreciated!

Yea, I should have qualified that we are moving BACK to Georgia after nearly 6 years in Las Vegas. Its a love/hate kind of relationship.

You weren't kidding, that thing is freaking huge....unfortunately it also comes with a huge payment.
