280DA aft accy. wire termination location?

Wondering if anyone knows the location of the Aft Accy. wire, where it terminates or is wrapped in the harness. Also what color is it. The schematic says red/violet? (i Think). damn these eyes.

It only comes out couple inches from the EIM connector plug. It is buried deep in the wires and tape but it is in there. The schematic has the wire number as well as the color that you already found.

would that be on the starboard side, under the helm or by the fuse/breaker box on the port side in the engine compartment?

The latter. The schematic is not very clear, but it looks like it is pin 1 on the aft EIM.

thanks, I will dig around tonight when I get home. I'm using it for LED step lights that I mounted above the swim platform.

Thanks for the help everyone. I found it. It was only an inch long wire with the crimp connector and was tucked behind the aft EIM. Not much to work with.

No problem. Not much to work with but better than SR leaving nothing at all I suppose.
