3.0 seems to be missing at full throttle

I have an 86 seville with the 3.0 that seems to be missing and losing power at wot. It just had a tune up and the sea ray dealer here said they would be suprised if it had more than 50 hrs on it. also, after i run it for a while and shut it down, at times it is hard to get it to start and acts like it is missing till i run it for a few mins. i was thinking that the two issues are probably connected. Any ideas? thanks all...

Check your fuel quality, try just dumping some dry gas in the tank.

Im leaning towards fuel, mainly because you said the tune up was just done and if the motor has 50hrs on it the compression should be fine.

Have any problems filling the gas tank?

i have ran about two tanks through it so far. the first one i filled it while she was on the trailor heading out to the lake. the second one was on the water. When i started having the problem was after the second tank. Im not quite sure what you mean by having any problems filling the tank. Do you think the carb may need to be adjusted?:smt100
