I’ll be winterizing our 3126’s by pulling the hose off the seacock and putting it in a large bucket with 6-7 gallons of AF then starting the engine to run it through the raw water side.
On our gas engines I always liked to drain as much water as possible before filling the system, what’s the best low place to drain the raw water from these engines? It looks like either the fitting that feeds the dripless seal or just pull the hose off the oil cooler?
I know the raw water side likely won’t completely drain but I like the reassurance of minimal dilution when running the AF thru
