Never boated in Florida. Do a lot of people take small boats that far off shore?

32ft is not small for offshore in Florida.

People cross the Stream from Florida to Bimini in jet skis and that’s approximately 50 miles.

I’ve done it many times in a 17ft Mako as a kid.

Everyone w range crosses to Bimini in small boats. Even jet boats.
