320 DA aft sunshade

I am in the process of having one made now. Will be extending the rear bimini about two feet. Be happy to send pics and contact info if you are interested.

We've seen extended aft sunshades on several 320s. Anyone know a source for these?

Steve, do you have the regular bimini or the "soft top" option. I had a 4' sun shade made that attaches to my soft top frame using quick release pins. Only use it for shade, doesn't have and supports in the back. I can try to post a picture if you have the same type. Makes all the difference in the world when out on the water or rafted up.

We have camper canvas, and we leave the camper bimini up year round. It's nice to have some shade from the hot sun.

LOL...in my business we call it "leveraging"

Thanks for the tip and info! No problem brotha, you're gonna like not having to climb in between those da*# top frames when boarding from the sides:grin:

Where is that darn diagonal support that partially obstructs the view and gets in the way of fishing...hmmm

I'd be interested in photos, approx price, who you used, etc. I'm right up the river from you and will be looking to make some custom pieces as well. Thanks!

Gioia Sails. First class operation! They came out used a laser to measure all of the dimensions and digitized it on the computer prior to making all of it. The removed one bow and bent and installed a new one to extend the rear by two feet (but keeping paths to gunwales clear for easy front access).

The price was not cheap, but quality isn't. I also had them install Anina glass panels with zipper valances that can be removed entirely from inside the cockpit. These panels added a few 1000. Also fitted and installed all new cockpit carpet.

Pictures here...let me know if you want more and I'll get them to you.

Also if you get down to Hoboken/Jersey City, let me know and you can take a look in person.

Looks great! I'm looking to have a new camper enclosure made that zippers on to the existing shade and closes off the entire rear seating. I'd prefer to have more eisenglass or strataglass back there if possible. I've seen some that really open it up and extend the season.
I'm down in that area all the time. Would love to see it first hand. Any excuse to walk the docks is good with me.
