Hi this is a first in many ways for me.1. I have just purchased the first (for good or bad) 330 2008 model in Australia and 2. this is my first ever forum post. So I was just looking to compare notes with any other 330 owners or those who have knowledge of this boat. I have had it for 3 weeks, had a 260DA previously and am really enjoying it. Any discussions on this boat - other than "why on earth would you buy one one of those?" - would be greatly appreciated - many thanks.

Welcome to the site. Thought I save Wesley some cut and paste. One of the things that helps folks out in answering your questions is putting the specs of your boat, engine, and out drive in your signature. Your post has a lot of those details all ready.

Congratulations on the new boat. That is awesome.

The 330 is a great boat. I love the look. For a boat of this size you get a lot. Also, I love the large head, important if you plan to spend time onboard.

Welcome to CSR!

If I could have any model Sea Ray under 42 feet, I think the 330 would be my choice. I love that Boat! The value of that boat is incredible. The lines of the boat are gorgeous. The layout is efficient. The design of the cockpit and interior beats everything in its class. The boat is still small enough to take out solo without difficulty. It is large enough to be comfortable for a family on a week. I don't see you gaining a whole lot more boat up to 42 feet. It is fairly economical to run. It's size and weight will make traversing heavy chop with confidence. I couldn't see wanting more if I had that boat. Best wishes!

Hello to all that have replied, sorry for slow response. I will fix my signature to cover the boat description better. Thanks also for your words of support on what has been a pretty big "investment" though we know that word "investment" doesn't go with boats all that well. However we buy them for fun and that is truly what I am having in this one. To Sydney SeaRay Steve I am in Newcastle - or really Lake Macquarie. To all Searay people we just had an awesome get together last weekend check it out at www.lifestylemarine.com.au - you have to put your email address in but these are good guys and will not hammer you with emails. Marty
