350 Horizon Antifreeze in oil sample

I'm looking to purchase a 310 sun dancer with 350 Horizon motors.
The oil sample for the port motor came back with high sodium number and 0.14 of antifreeze readings.
Owner said head gaskets were done last year and marina mechanic says it's leftover in the pan from when the gaskets were done. (all oil cannot be removed because it has to pumped out from dipstick tube)
My question is the antifreeze in the freshwater cooling looks like it circulates through the exhaust manifolds and risers. Can there be a leak in the riser or manifold or even the gasket between them that is allowing coolant to enter the exhaust and into the engine.

Any help greatly appreciated.

There is a stainless blocking plate between the manifold and riser. If it is blowing by you would start to notice it in the engine perfromance, also start to see the plugs would faul on that side you would also see the coolant level start to drop.

the question is why would the engine blow a head gasket to beging with?????

I agree with Saverio. Head gasket failure is not normal. Sodium and antifreeze means sea water got into the oil as well as coolant, so a head gasket failing might explain it but that would be a complete gasket failure that impacted both raw water side and the cooolant side. Seems like more than a head gasket issue. Be very cautious here and get more infomration. Ask to see all service records leading up to and including the head gasket replacement. I think you will find there is more going on.

Who's mechanci are you talking about, his or yours? You should hire your own marine mechanic and get a mechanical survey.

Apparently the heat exchanger failed causing the engine to overheat. It's all documented but i still feel there is a problem and i have decided to pass on this boat.
It's so frustrating trying to find a good used boat.
