Anyone have any ideas where i can get a section of rub rail/fendering for a 2007 36 sedan bridge?

Sea ray tell me it's is no longer available.

I find that hard to believe, but if they say so.............Do you have a picture of what you want to replace

I too find that hard to believe. If you're refering to the hard white strip that the stainless rail sits in I know it's still available, at least for Sea Rays in the 40' range and I'd bet it's the same one on your boat. I actually have a section of it sitting in my garage, but the local dealer here stocks it. If you look on the Sea Ray website and look for your parts manual you should find the part number and be able to locate it at a dealer. Good luck.

These folks have or can match what you are looking for:

In fact, they are probably the OEM supplier for Sea Ray. Sea Ray uses a rubber rub rail with a stainless cover. Most likely the reason you were told Sea Ray discontinued the rail for your boat is because they have chosen a different rubber color, or your dealer knows you are going to back up when he prices the rub rail to you with the freight added.

I've emailed Taco but they don't seem to reply.

Cost of the section of rub rail is not an issue.

just another update - tacomarine no longer make the fendering and sea ray use a a different type.

It's looking likely that i may have to replace the fendering around the whole boat - which is a pretty horrible thought.

I'd just go to the next boat show and remove the rub rail from the floor model when they are not looking

good call - I'm going to need a fairly lengthy distraction!

still on the hunt for a section!
