I've really been enjoying this guy's Youtube channel. Very informative. I've even learned a few things here and there from Boogaboo when he had his 400 a few years ago and about the same time I bought mine. The 2nd inline muffler for the gen is one of the best things that I've done.
I have a 2001 with the three piece window. But looks like same concept. The 6 vertical trim pieces should be held in with Christmas tree fasteners. Just pull them off. Then you can remove the bottom trim piece. On mine the bottom piece is also held in with Christmas tree fasteners. Yours looks to be screwed in.

I agree, the Boogaboo videos on searay hatch and window reseals I am sure i will use one day. iMHO I wouldn’t use his gel coat polish technique, and looking at the pin stripe removal video I might not try that , looks fraught .

cool, i think i get it?, the vertical trim strips look to be pop off, as I cant see any screws , the bottom ones are screwed
btw 2nd inline muffler I assume is fine for Gas but I read somewhere it's not recommended by Westerbeke for Diesel because of back pressure.
Yes. Here’s a picture of my 2001. That entire piece with two vinyl covered strips on it, is held to the frame with two screws. You can see the screw caps in the picture. I’m going with a hunch that yours has barbed fasteners rather than the two screws.
Could you share where you bought the flexible trim, that looks fantasticGot around to finally finishing the job. I stained the flexible moulding to match (as best I could) and attached it with DAP Weldwood contact cement.
Make sure you get the stain grade. They also have quarter round (3/4 x 3/4) if you prefer that size. I went with shoe mounding. Stain I used is Minwax Gunstock.

As near as I can tell, the old style screen was kind of mounted into the hatch itself. The new or retro refit comes with a new screen in a plastic frame with new gasket. I've watched a couple of Youtube videos on it.
Which covers did you order for the windlass deck controls? I ordered the wrong size and had to send them back.
For the nav lights, if you don’t want to paint them, try searching the numbers in post #4741. Pictures appear to be lost from the site meltdown a while back. They still look new. Might be the same as the ones you’re looking at. They were an exact replacement for the old oem white ones.
I bought these. Got mine from Hodges Marine, but this part number. I didn’t see a reason to unbed the factory switch and tossed the new ones in my parts stash. Just used the cap and rubber step pad. Nice heavy casy stainless. Screw holes align. They were $226 for the pair at Hodges.
