Anyone with a 2016-2018 FLY or Sundancer may have had this experience. Water started dripping from behind the ceiling panels at the back of the salon by the sliding doors. Recaulked every evident seam. Possibly emanating from the port side of the vessel, maybe from the area of the built-in refrigerator on the flybridge where it is difficult to access the seams? I thought covering it would fix this problem, but even condensation/dew triggers the leak.
One of the techs who looked at this hypothesized that the superstructure was removed for transport, then somewhere in re-attaching it a gap was left. But I can't see an opening that would account for that...
Is the only way to diagnose the leak to stand with a hose and saturate the deck or superstructure until a leak materializes? When I hose her off, I don't get the leak...
Wit's end.
