410 Sundancer/Express Cruiser and 400 Sundancer/Express Cruiser **Official Thread**

I went to reseal my deck hatches towards the end of the season last year and when I removed the hatches I realized that there were gaskets between the hatches and the fiberglass. I figured it was just caulking. Everything looked great (no rot or moisture). I didn't have the gaskets so I reinstalled it. Anyway does anyone have a source for the gaskets? Also I plan on using Boatlife LifeSeal based on what I've read. Do you guys recommend anything else. TIA

Just in case you all were wondering how to find the crazy people in upstate NY, we’re the ones polishing the bilge steps to pass the winter. Spring can’t come soon enough

Steam cleaner for the bilge. I've had heard it all now. Love it!!

steam is awesome. We made a steam lance for our engine rooms when I was a junior sailor. Worked like a champ.

I know, I’m so irrationally excited to use it too. There are some spots underneath where the exhaust tubes run that I can’t reach. This thing has two extensions and a scotch brite disk that I think will do a nice job

Beautiful! I bought a cheapo steam cleaner this weekend I can’t wait to try it on some hard to reach spots. A clean and dry bilge is an addiction...
Was thinking of getting one of those as well. What brand/style did you end up with?

Just the harbor freight one. A new store opened up near me and had 20% off. It’s of course capped to 1500 W but it seems to put out a decent amount of steam. I will still need some kind of cleaner I’m sure. Once I try it out I’ll let you know how it goes

Why not? I think I'll get one also but wait until August here in Florida to use it in the engine room. Might as well make it a religious experience.....

I love it! I have one of those too, after I clean my aftercoolers they are getting the full steam treatment!

Taking delivery of my 400DA. Can someone tell me how to tell the fresh water tank level?

CONGRATS! On the electrical panel in the cabin, in the top section of that panel, there is a switch there. If you press it, it reads the tank level. IIFC it reads in 1/4 tank increments.

Excited for your trip tomorrow! Weather looks great. What a way to start the season. Safe travels.

Thanks everyone found it. Ok next question is there a cut out valve to the fresh water pump. Pump kicks on but no flow. Boat was winterized so I am thinking there is prob a valve near the tank. Guessing tank access is under the sink?

My tank valve is located under the forward berth. Pull the mattress up and there is a hatch to access the AC unit...mine is a rotary knob.

your may be a little different but start there.

do you have the owner manuals? The can be located electronically on sea ray.com

I believe @Stee6043 just discovered where the shutoff is on the 400 - somewhere in the engine room corner right before the water pump

I posted a pic of my valve just a couple weeks back...because it was leaking :)

Port side, aft of the engine. Hard to miss it if you're looking in that general direction:
