How did you get the tinting correct? Once you had the color match what formula did you use to mix with the west 105 resin? I've never used before. Thanks.
I took a chip to the local Ace hardware store and asked them to color match the paint. The mixture was about 50/50.
I talked with a west system rep at a boat show and asked if I could mix the two. His response was that he couldn’t recommend it but didn’t see any problem doing it.

I need to ask you a few more questions. I'll send you a message. Thanks.

Hey folks, does anyone know the brand name, and where to buy the black latches that are in our closets etc, that turn on the lights on and off when you open the closet door?
Thanks in advance.

Had a foot or two of 'daylight' LED strip lights left from a home project that I added in the galley. Connected to the existing lights so they all come on at the same time - the brightness is materially different. The strip has an adhesive backing, easy enough to put up and you don't see the the led's unless you are really low and look up. Admiral was finding the galley too dark - she approves of this upgrade :)

I’ve always wondered about that too as they appear quite vulnerable..

I have purchased them from Flounder Pounder in the past.

I got on their web site right away and ordered without issue. About $52 with shipping. Not certain why you're having an issue.
Amazon says still unavailable sir.

Getting ready to replace my batteries, is the Group 31 AGM still the battery of choice?

Thinking of heading to 3 mile this weekend for the fireworks. Is it best to get there Friday or Sat? Does it get crowded Was thinking Sag on Friday then head to 3 mile on Sat.

I usually go Friday's to get a spot close to the shore for my 4 legged friend. There is plenty of room in the harbor though, so Saturday morning would be fine. I think a lot depends on the weather.

Great, thanks! Will say hello if we see you.

Here is something you don't experience on the boat every day.

The Admiral getting ready for an interview (Edit: I would put a spot on her face...):

Were any of you guys in Greenport last weekend? I saw a lot of 420s floating around?
Not us. We were in Block.

My port side fuel gauge goes off and on. The analog and digital. It seems like it’s a loose connection. When I am running the top end it comes and goes a lot quickly, when going slow it will stay off a lot longer.
Anyone ever had this issue.
