Hi everybody, I'm new to this and I have a problem :smt100. I have to install a new fridg. in the 420 AC 2000 boat. My problem is : the fridg. is 22 inch. wide and the sliding door to the salon open by only 20 inch. Does somebody know how to remove or access the stopper that protect the door from going all the way in so I could gain the missing 2 inch. ?
I searched all the forum and I didn't fine anything that could help me so if someone had this problem and help me, it will be very appreciate.

Not sure if this will solve your problem (or if you already did this), but had a friend with a 380 and what he had to do was remove the doors from the (old and new) refrig to get the unit out / in the boat.

Thank you for the reply but it doesn't help, it is the side of the fridg. that is the narrower. The depth of the fridg. still to wide without the door.

I have same issue. Did you ever get an answer to this or does anyone know how to remove the sliding salon door?

My brother succeeded to slide the door in by removing the 3 screws at the bottom of the rail and pushing the sleeve. That action let him remove the door from the railing, slide the door up and inward pass the stopper. If you still need more room, just remove the handle. Hope this help you and excuse me for my poor english. Feel free to ask if you need more details.

Your English is just fine! Not sure about the terminology. Let me define some: The door trucks run in a top track and a bottom track and the door has a handle attached directly to the door. Is the "rail" you speak of the track? Did you solve the issue by succeeding in pushing the door further in or by removing the door completely? If further in, where is the "stopper"?

Agree on the need for a 420AC thread!

Yes, the railling means the bottom track. the handle is attach to the door. I don't thing you could remove the door this way. You have to push the door further in by lifting the bottom and by doing that, the door goes over the stopper. The stopper is located inside where the door slide in and stop the door from completly going inside.

Not sure I completely follow all of that but I will take a look next time I am at the boat. Thanks.
