I would talk to Tony at www.sbmar.com. He has a strong opinion on different motor mounts. Take really good pictures and explanation of what the perceived problem is.

How many hours ?This was discovered during survey. No signs of rust but during the backdown test and at idle it was more apparent on one motor vs the other(6 out of the 8 were termed "end of service life").
I want to replace the “44” on my transom. Anyone know if there is a place that sells them? I looked at Flounder Pounder and Great Lakes already. Maybe just have them made????
I don't know much about this but it's my understanding that along with adjusting the motor mounts for best driveline alignment, that the actual weight being supported on/by them should equalized as much as possible.I witnessed the movement on starboard engine at idle (all four mounts were noted as bad on that engine). Port motor movements were noted during backdown. I’m not doubting the findings as this was confirmed by engine and marine surveyor as well. I’m curious as to wether or not replacements could balloon into a bigger issue with the stringers. Visually I couldn’t see any corrosion on the mounts. I’m not familiar with how the mounts interact with the isolators and I’m waiting on my written results but wanted to get a jump on cost estimates to repair.
OK - I was just curious if they matched the font and size.
Removed Smartcraft for repair, all analog gauges went pfffft. Thought it was related to having Smartcraft out but...no. Just replaced overhauled Smartcraft and it works perfect but still no analog gauges work. Thoughts??
Thanks. Anyone have any insight here? Connections seem A-OKAnalogue guages are fed by smartcraft. Would have thought otherwise but that's what Cummins tech told me. Sorry can't help more but I would target that smartcraft and connections.
Well that is interesting. How did you know how to change the setting to the fuel gauge? I am trying to find the diagram to see what goes where on the Smartcraft. Thank you very much for the insight!A few years back I purchased a 420 with a bad fuel guage. I was told by the Searay dealer who was the broker it needed a sending unit. Before I tore the boat apart to get to the sender I decided to see what the smart craft had to say. Some one had changed the settings for the fuel section to oil pressure! Needless to say this input did nothing for the fuel guage. After changing the setting to fuel the analog guage on the dash worked.
Is there any chance your settings got changed during the repair?
Good luck, I know how hard something like this is to find sometimes.
