local repair shop is telling me that there are no repair parts available for the model 561 norcold fridge ,anyone know of a source for a complete cooling unit??

the cooling unit is about $800, I believe a new complete frig costs around $1500

Give up on the Norcold and install a Vitrifrigo model DP 2600. Fits in the same space, is AC/DC uses less amps on 12 VDC, quieter plus has a light inside the fresh food section. Paid $1350 for mine June of last year plus $179 shipping.
