I know this is a different boat, but a previous owner added them to my 400DB. He ran RCA cord from the head units "front" output to an amp mounted under the helm, as well as the remote turn-on wire for the amp. Then ran speaker wire through the back of the helm to the speakers. He powered the amp from an extra connector on the 12v fuse strip under the helm. The speakers are just cheap outdoor units bolted to those plastic enclosures in the picture. But sounds good enough for us. Funny, I have been asked if they are air intakes for the engines. Ha!I would like to get stereo to the bow area of the boat for the admiral and kids when they are sun bathing. Anybody ever expand their system to cover this area? Thinking waterproof speakers on the hardtop. Then I can use when on the hook as well.

DC, If you have any pictures, I would like to see them. Are they pointed downward to direct the sound forward and down from the hardtop? Boltman- I have been using portable and that works great at cocktail speed, but I would love to really crank it up when out on the hook and swimming away from the boat. Or just to drive my Harbor Master crazy
