I've ordered the oil coolers and transmission coolers from Mr.Cool and plan on replacing them this weekend. How difficult is this task? The starboard oil cooler will be a challenge, but everything else seems straight forward. Any helpful advice in prepping?

I changed the transmission coolers and oil coolers today. Not a bad job. Thank you www.mrcool.us I used part number 863832T01 for the transmission cooler and part 863904T for the oil cooler. Perfect fit.

Good info, thanks. Any modifications or adapters needed? This is on winter project list.

I got oil and transmission cooler from them and the thread size was different bigger. I had to sleeve them. It worked out fine and the price was right. Keep one each of the old ones as a spare as they do fail. Changing mine they were last changed 9 years ago and the bolts were a bit rusty. Spray the bolts with penetrating oil a day or so in advance. Makes life a bit easier. I cut the ones I did not keep as spares in two to see how they looked. Did not see any corrosion.

The ones I got only came in 1/2" and my hoses are 3/8" But I have 454s not 8.1s. Mine were $110 each so are different than yours.
