Greetings,
Found the appropriate gasket/seal material at McMaster Carr and have 3M High performance neoprene contact cement on the way to take care of the old gasket material that is just falling apart.
Questions:
The hinge cover material (yellow arrow) has shrunk over the years and I'd love to replace it and was wondering if any one had hints as to where to start looking for that.
Does anyone know if getting under that hinge cover would reveal a way to remove the window to make applying the gasket and adhesive easier.
Any suggestions that anyone might have for dealing with this would be appreciated
Without being able to take that window out, getting this gasket exactly where I want it looks like it will be a PITA.
