95 Merc 7.4 mie carb swap question

I have the original Rochester carbs on my 95 330 , has any one swapped them out with webers/ eldebrock 1410’s? I’m mainly wondering if it’s a direct swap or if I need extra adapters.

Rochester quadrabog Vs. Eldebrock 1410, I'll take the Edelbrock every time.

If they better why did no manufacturer cars or boats install an Edelbrock from the factory?
Cant say I disagree about about Edelbrocks, fine product. Just wonder why need to change.

If you do remove the Rochester let me know I may buy one as a backup.
