Poifect.... Works great. I thought the stove I took out was an induction cooktop too, but I could turn that one on without having a pot on it.

Yep, induction is quite different. Look's great.
Thanks. Wife does the cooking so I wasn't really up on it. I am now... I like it. We have it on our stove in the kitchen. We like gas better, but I didn't want to rent a bottle and have it out in the yard etc. It would be the only thing gas we had.

A lot of pots and pans will work well on an induction cook top. True quality induction pots and pans are not cheap but will work astounding well and make cooking much more energy efficient.
Once again, total surface contact is imperative! Even a quality pan can get warped if overheated. (usually happens when preheated with nothing in it)
A good straight edge will be your friend.

I tried the new unit with a pan from the house tonight and it worked well. I'll pick up a couple new decent stainless ones to leave in the boat. I think just a 10" omelette pan and a 2 qt pot with lids will do the trick.

Well that was easy... For some reason I didn't think the HVAC was functioning on my boat. Turn on the breaker dummy... Lol. To be honest I think I did when we first got her, but there was no sign of life. I left her figuring I had bigger fish to fry at the time. I took the panel off, made sure the connections were good and took the access panel off the unit to check for power. Before I headed to grab my multimeter I said wait a minute, which breaker is it? Oh, the air conditioning one lol All set!
Fridge is frosty, HVAC is up, new stove, new canvas on the way, life is good... Next up is the upholstery. I picked up a Rex 607 that's identical to a Sailrite ultra yesterday to mess around with. I might try my hand at doing some upholstery.

Well this should be good for at least, what? 3.5 mpg better?
45 min and one beer later... They went from before to after. I still have more to do, center etc., but it's a start. Nice being on the trailer for little things like this.

Also picked up a new toy to play with. My original enclosure isn't in that bad condition, but it shrunk and its pretty worn. It'll be perfect to leave on to store under the cover I'm setting up for the while boat. I'm going to use this new toy to make some adjustments and make some custom covers and do some interior work.

A little Bar Keepers friend helped alot with some nasty grease stains from pulling the engine. It wouldn't have been so bad, but he VA humidity causing me to put wet, greasy, hand and foot prints all over made a mess. Doing it over I would have put canvas over every clean surface... I don't want to do it over lol
I still have some cleaning to do, but it made a big difference. Simple Green, Purple stuff, diesel, etc didn't even touch it.
You can see how stained it was by the ladder area and the top rail area.

Installed the new Delta faucet tonight. Perfect height. It was a little tricky finding one because of the 11.5" height of the cabinet door.
Also changed over all the door locks from gold to chrome.
Now the microwave is looking shabby lol

Thoroughly enjoyed reading your posts to date, amazing work, nice job.
Thanks! It's been fun. Installing the new cockpit enclosure tonight. She's a snug fit! Hopefully I'll have a few decent pics tomorrow.

We took what was the probably the last cruise of the season last night. Beautiful day on the water. My oldest is home from college with his girlfriend so we went down to the York River OC for a nice dinner. Ended up coming home in the dark for about 25 miles of the trip. Did I mention I hate daylight savings time?
There were two channel markers that were unlit. So dangerous. It was foggy and it would have been so easy to hit them.
