I just bought a 270 Sundancer, and a prestige trailer. I am having the trailer shipped to the boat which is 400 plus miles from me. Im picking it up this weekend and im concerned that the about the a/c pickup on the bottom of the boat hitting the bunks on the trailer.

The trailer is was built for a 28 foot formula so im sure it can handle it. Just worried about the pickup. 3G53K53J65Ge5E15K9d1he1b9865e78b6142c.jpg3K23Ff3Je5L95Nd5Kfd1h434c2b4eb75c1e43.jpg

If the trailer was built for a formula, I am willing to bet that the dead rise on the hull of the formula, is different, probably steeper than the Sundancer, so while the trailer should handle the weight of the Sea Ray, I am betting your will need to have the bunks adjusted to match the hull deadrise of the Sundancer. While the pickup your worry, I think it is a significantly less worry as it looks like the bunks are not adjustable in the pictures.

I wouldn't worry too much about the A/C pickup... like 230CC said be more concerned about fitting the bunks to the boat.

Congratulations, and welcome to CSR!

I can take pictures of mine with the boat on it if you need them. This is the pic while I was rebuilding it. I have extended the bunks currently and have them sitting directly on the cross members.

Let me know if you need dimensions but from your pictures, I would think things need to be moved around...
