Dogs can be a pain in the keister occasionally. Like this morning, walking Bear around the sub in the pouring rain. He doesn't care but I sure do. Other than that, he can put a smile on my face in an instant. My dude hit 7 years old in November. Hoping for another 6 or 7 with him.

Yes dogs can be a pain at times. But they’re worth it. I have an invisible fence around a 5 acre section of my property so I just let the dogs out and let them roam. They spend most of their time sitting on the front porch.

We have a cat. Good mouser and probably would never be without one. As mentioned in the other thread, we’re considering a dog but have a vacation planned in a month and then I have some work travel, so it’s not a great time. However, we would have made it work with Maverick.

Quinn, Cocker Spaniel, Hallie, Irish Setter. They both love the boat and swimming. Quinn will jump in anywhere anytime. Even in the middle of January, she will jump in.

Some dog broke into my sons back yard and had sexual relations with that woman( his female German shepherd) she had 8 pups from the encounter, lost 2 on the first night. She is not asking him for any support, she is going through this alone.

One time I saw a sign that said. Free puppies. Mother is black lab, father is handsome traveling man. I thought that was funny.

My Lab is a Service Dog and he loves boating about as much as I do. When underway, he insists upon sitting in front of the MFD screen as if to help me navigate.

This is our current doggie. She has it tough.

These were the last two we had that have passed on. This shepherd was the best dog ever. He was a brute. The golden, lab mix was a water dog to the end. Would carry on if she didn't get a ride on the jetski.
