AC water supply hose

This kinda goes without saying but, Any ideas how to get to the AC water hose on this 88 300 Weekender?

If you bend the hose at all, it crumbles in your hand.

It connects to the ball valve in the shower sump location, connects to the AC (AC- pun intended) pump under the aft bench galley seat, but thats where the fun begins. From there, It goes under the raised floor (sealed) under the galley table to behind the galley sliding drawers. From there, it comes out and up into the AC unit under the front V Berth.
How does one get to that? :smt021
I'm sure many of you have replaced these hoses as I am replacing on both 88 models.

Does the old hose have enough integrity left to attach the new hose to the end of the old and pull it through the void by pulling on the old hose?

Ya know, I thought about that. Yes I think it is strong enough. It only wants to crack/break whenever it is bent.

My only concern was it was secured with tie downs under there somewhere. Didn't know if anyone else has attempted yet.

It it weren't attached, I could glue a 5/8-5/8 hose coupler and pull.

I'm betting on it being secured a bunch of places. Seems like everything I want to fix has been over secured and other stuff is barely secured. Good luck.

On my 89 340 it runs through the center storage on the floor. that help???

I got lucky! Looks like Sea Ray did a real nice job of tieing down, and covering with plastic wire tubing with black electrical tape -(, only on the exposed ends. When you cut loose all that, the hose is compleely free underneath. :smt038
I can fish a new hose easy enough.

Remember all you boat owners from the 80's. Replace those old heater hoses! They are rotten. (on both my 88 models.)
Water supply, Air conditioner water supply, remote oil filter lines, etc. New Hose is only $1.25 per foot. Cheap insurance.
