I was wondering if there was a way to put the channel markers like you see in Navionics in activecaptain because I don't see it in my chart plotter but I have activecaptain

You have to download the chart area to view the detail.

The channel markers should show up as part of your chart subscription. Maybe just need to play with the map layers.

You are showing what is displayed on your iPhone. What does your Echmap display?

Try this:

Select the top right button on your Active Captain screen and select “my charts”. Make sure your purchased chart shows in the list. Select Chart Settings and make sure QuickDraw is off.

Select the next button down, and select Navigation Chart.

It looks almost exact on the gps

I figured out the issue. I only have the mobile version which is only 50 bucks and not the chop plotted version

I'm not sure what you're saying. Garmin extends the license of whatever maps you own for your plotter for use in ActiveCaptain. What did you buy for $50?

Navionics subscription was just for mobile version. It did not work for the chart plotter I have. I upgraded it to the more expensive one so it works for my chart plotter now

Ah. Easy mistake, especially since Garmin *encourages* mapping purchases via app and their marketing team apparently likes to go home early.

"We bought a cruising social network, let's call 5 of our products ActiveCaptain"

"We bought a mapping company with an app that competes with ours - let's continue both apps, and sell mapping licenses and let the customers figure out what we're talking about"

Glad you got it going.
