Found a local used achilles that is 19 years old. Supposed to be in good shape. How long do they last? Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

I'd stick a fork in it and call it dead if it is made of PVC.

My Achillies is Hypalon. It's getting older, dirtier, and uglier (anti-theft device), but it still works fine after 7yrs, but 19???

I don't think Achilles made anything other than hypalon. If it is PVC fuggedaboudit. Hypalon will last a lot longer than the typical PVC inflatable. I'd have to see it but if it can be had for a song, I'd take a shot at it but expect to be chasing air leaks constantly.
