Alpha One water leak video.

I found a leak while on the muffs. :smt089 I guess I better do the impeller while I have the drive off to replace this bad gasket.

Any thoughts on what else I would want to do while the drive is off?

Nope, but i could clearly see 3 small gaps in the gasket when I turned it off.

Drive oil monitor was at normal level. Didn't find anything in the drive oil that I drained. I can remember last I checked I was getting just over 5psi @ 3k and 165*f. Guess there is nothing to do other than fix it.

Have you run it on muffs before w/ good results (no leak).

What was the water supply pressure?

Good Grief, yes I had good results before. : ) Looking at a picture of the gasket, I think it breached at the weak spot (Thinest part of the gasket). I'm not sure if you're asking me about the garden hose pressure, I don't know that. I do know I had about 5.3psi @ 3000 RPM while on a lake a few weeks ago. While this video was taken, I was at 0.6psi @ 800 RPM.
