Alternative to upgrading Clarion Stereo system

I bought a battery operated Bose Blue Tooth Mini speaker and a new Apple blue tooth nano iPod. Great sound, great convenience, much cheaper than upgrading an old stereo system, plus it sounds better than my old speakers. It's below when I'm below, it's on deck when I am.
