I just published my new website Anderson Forge and Metal Works. andersonforge.com

Check it out and give me some feed back. I'm going to add a repaired knife page in the near future. I will feature some knives I have repaired for some of you. I know it will look a little simple to some here who are in the website business but hey I'm new to this and it is a lot of fun to build.

Most of the knives are already sold but they are there to show the different types that can be made.

Thanks for your feed back.

Just checked out the web site, good job. I would make a strong pitch about your "quality restorations" on the home page too,,,,,, I think? That's how much I know about web sites however. Good luck.

That's a great start. I would recommend a better gallery for the knife pictures. The for sale pics need to be larger and show more detail.

Maybe instead of "repaired" use "restored". Sounds a little more refined just a thought.

All your comments are great and I will update as soon as I can. I tried doing some page changes while sitting at the airport today and jazzed the picture on the knives for sale page. I'll work it out tonight if I get time.

Hey OldSkool!, just checked out the website- great job for a first crack at doing one. easy to navigate, easy to understand, uncluttered. Perfect for someone like me who appreciates things clear and concise. :smt038

My old eyes totally missed the links at the top of the page. You might want to make the fonts a little larger like the "quality on edge" in the middle of the page.

Also be careful of using red and greens as many of us are color blind and have trouble seeing red text. this showed up on the restored knifes drop down i could barely see the drop down text.

good luck with your efforts

Great input and never thought about the color blind issue.

I have made some changes as per your suggestions. Paypal is being set up. Too much time at my regular job only allows for small changes here and there. I would not have even messed with a site but everyone wants to see one.

It has been fun to do though.

Thanks again for your help.

Keep Calm and Boat on!!

Trying to work out how I could legally import a custom blade from you. Would love something for my fishing bag.

We have major restrictions here on blades. It is actually illegal to carry a knife on your person.
