Finally have some pictures...
That boat is just beautiful! Congratulations. Your pics sure look like Aquia Creek and if so there are a few less bass and catfish in that stretch of water thanks to my fishing days there about 20 years ago.
I meant to tell you I'm pretty sure I saw your 290 on a trailer being towed down I-75 near Tampa about a month or so ago. Had the Stafford hailing port on the transom......I assume it was being relocated as a result of your trading up. Small world huh!
Enjoy the switch to a diesel hardtop....I know I am.
Very nice piece of equipment and congratulations!! There are lots of good deals here in Florida because of the PITIFUL state of the economy and a large inventory.
I plan to go to the Ft. Lauderdale show tomorrow or Saturday to check what my Marine Max buds in Pompano have in brokerage.
BTW...how long before you need to winterize?
RanAmok,
We're a liitle further down in Deltaville than you and a lot of boats down here don't winterize till after or during the Christmas Holidays as like tomorrow it's supposed to hit 81 degrees with lots of sunshine.
It takes a lot more continuoulsy cold weather than you think when your boat is sitting in 45 degree plus water for quite awhile to have a problem. You might consider adding a couple of belly pan heaters to your engines which your engine's will love you for it as they stay nice an warm all year long. We winterize the fresh water system during the holidays but keep the engins ready to go all year long.
