Another police officer shot and killed

2nd one this year in the Pittsburgh area. Another one was shot today also but is in stable condition. This is getting ridiculous. As a former LEO coming from a family of LEO's this is infuriating. The suspect was shot but is in the hospital. Gonna rant here but hope he doesn't make it. One less piece of trash sharing the same oxygen I do. You attempt to kill a police officer you deserve what you get!

My cousins daughter was shot in the head about 2 weeks ago by her boyfriend. She is in critical condition and her mother was also shot and killed. Too much coddling and feeling sorry for these kids. Need to bring back tough love!

Wife called my step-son today and he was at the state police crime lab when this happened.

dwna1a, thank you for what you do, and boatman, I agree with you about these hoodlums that have been emboldened by this leftist government that is causing the decimation of our police force nationwide.

When I was brought up, I was taught that when the man in blue showed up, he was god and I had better be on my best behavior. I can't believe what I'm seeing in these videos of these assholes running from police and even fighting them. Hell, I'm old and I still get nervous when I see blue lights behind me and get that relieved feeling when he blasts on by,,,"whew".

Far too many liberal policies in effect at the courts and prosecutors offices across the nation. They keep mass releasing criminals and otherwise letting them off for their crimes with zero consequences because of some far fetched idea that the police are the problem rather than the criminals. But God forbid you try and present them with the facts that the criminals are the problem. They will just scream over you and have you cancelled. Far too many people complicit or otherwise ignorant of these happenings to make a positive change occur.

Thanks. I haven't talked to my cousin in about 15 years and wouldn't talk to him if I did see him but still feel sorry for the whole situation. Haven't seen Cassidy since she was about 6 or 7. She is 24 now

I come from a family of LEO's and ex military. I'm the black sheep that is an engineer.

But I feel your pain and agree 200%, I donate to all my local(s) and sometimes have coffee with the marine guys that have an office by my marina.

This world is f'kd when it comes to police brutality. They don't understand you guys take your life in your hands just pulling someone over for a traffic ticket. Forget about arresting someone who is being abusive. IMO, you resist arrest and you get what you get and dead is an option. You guys don't carry guns for the looks. People just don't understand what goes on in the real world of crime. Sorry heard to many stories from the fam. over the years.

My prayers to the LEO's family and hope the other officer pulls through ok.

On the lighter side, I wish you guys would go easier on speeding ...
