I am leaving in the am for just a couple of days at Champlains. Just wondering if anyone else will be there.

Mark,

Your late this year! Lol!
Hope all is well...

Came over this am from MYC. Supposed to be big swells for next day or two and then lay down on Saturday. We plan to head back to MYC Sat thru labor day and then maybe shelter for a night or two. The weather has been perfect the last few days. Let's hope it stays this way..

i looked for a 410 at chaplains but realized you did.not say you were here. I looked in the harbor on the way to look at Chantal de vie- wow what a ship! Hope you are having fun

We are at Boat Basin. My wife and I rented a scooter today to see the island. This is really a beautiful Island. The bluffs and the clarity of the water is unbelievable. We stopped at Champlins today and hung out there for an hour or so. Could not remember your boat name, or would have looked for ya. We are having a blast. Hope you guys are having fun too.

sorry we missed you - we had a nice ride home today.

Glad you got home safe. We had to move to Paynes today since Boat Basin was sold out. We ate dinner at Spring House tonight. Expensive but delicious food, The Martinis were perfect as well. Ate a delicious dinner, caught a nice buzz and plan to sleep like a baby tonight. We love BI!

How was your trip back? Did you get back to Champlains Sat night for the Christmas party? We left Friday am with forecasts on BI sound of 3-5 footers. We left block and I never touched the throttles until Bridgeport Harbor. We averaged 27 mph the whole ride home even through the race. I was docked in just under three and a half hours which was quite surprising to me especially with the forecasts. I hope you had the same good luck! Maybe we will catch up another time.

No, we did not make it to Champlains. We went to MYC Sat and stayed there till Labor day. We came home via ocean yesterday afternoon. There were 3 to 4's with an occasional 6' but they were spread out enough that it was not a bad ride. I thought my wife would not be happy, but she was fine. She has become a real boater over the past couple of years. It was a great week long trip, but this boating season is not over yet!
