Anyone Celebrating World Whisky Day?

If you just new how apt this post is right now Mike...

I have driven two hours down the coast to my parents.....I was here yesterday, took them both out for lunch.

This morning I received a home from the nursing home, Dad not doing well, won't wake up. So back down here at 3.30. Couldn't wake him, even when I threatened to go and get the bottle of Chivas that I have for him there and drink it all myself!

The GM of the nursing home was sitting with me and said is that a touchy point, well if he won't have a whiskey with me nothing is going to bring him around.

I just agreed for regular morphine shots for him, so now it's just a sad wait....

But

World Whiskey day I should be in Panama, so I think we will start at one end of the top shelf and work along in his memory.

The other one, two years ago, when I raised WWD on here, someone posted Edradour as being their favourite. Took me 18 months to find a bottle here, and all I can say, is 'Oh Yeah' it was worth the search!
