I just got an email advertisement from my dealer for some new 2007 boats offering some real substantial discounts on a number of boats. :wow:

Dave, did you just edit this?

20%-25% off what? MSRP? That's not a great deal if it's off MSRP as you can probably get that all day long any day. When we bought our 2006 in Oct of 2006 we got about 30% off MSRP

As MC1600 mentioned, I believe a price around $50K for a 240DA would be much higher than 30 percent off MSRP.

I don't believe I said it was a big discount. That is all our local dealer is offering. MSRP ? Does it really even exist?

Not sure it exists. When I was shopping, a discount price was ALWAYS on the boat. I was frankly SHOCKED when I went to the manufacturer websites and saw the actual MSRP's.

You may see some changes in initial pricing but the "great deals" still will require some dickering. With the current market I think dealers will be easier to leed to the price you want. The key is doing some research to determine what that price should be.
