Hi Folks,
I just upgraded one of the tv's in my 460 (salon). The picture shows the electric connection that used to go to the Samsung TV. I now have a new LED (HiSense) tv that is typical 110v plug style.

My question. Is there a female side to what i'm showing in the picture to a female 110v (regular plug style) or am i gonna have to fish line back through the cabinets? LOL.

Thanks,
Tim

That looks like the end of a power brick and possibly 12v? If so you have two options, get a 12v to 110v inverter or run a 120v line to the panel. I will assume there is no accessible outlet near by you could tap into?

What wattage is the new tv?

More than likely you have a 110 plug feeding a "brick" and that's the 12V comming from the brick. The one's I am familar with, the 110 can disconnect from the brick. So the question is, what is the connection to the new TV and do they match? Work back an find the brick.

The new connection to the new tv is just a regular plug that goes into a wall.

There is an outlet about 4 feet away but running the line there would be an eyesore :-(

Is it permanently connected to the tv? If not, what does the other end look like? Is it compatible with what is already installed.

You'll probably have to fish the new power cord back through to wherever the previous power cord is connected at it's other end.

Not familiar with your boat, but that was relatively simple on ours... once other owners clued me in on how to open up the space under our TV mount. Without their input, I'd probably still be muddling over it...

Can you use that 12 V plug to pull a string back to the brick location and then use the string to pull the 110 volt plug?
