AQUAPALOOZA - 2008 Prince William Marina

"Welcome and thanks for registering for Aquapalooza 2008, the largest on-water boating party in history. Prince William Marine is proud to once again host this event at Tim’s II Restaurant in Fairview Beach, VA.

The party will start at noon on Saturday the 26th with bands performing throughout the day including a special performance by Country Singer Michael Peterson. (www.michaelpetersonmusic.com) Again this year we will have games and activities for the kids, boats, autos on display and prize patrol boats roaming the water. It will be capped off with a great fireworks display at dark. We are excited for another great day of boating on the Potomac River and hope everyone will invite their dock mates if they have not already signed up. Thank you. It was a good time. Don't know the details of the mishap Sunday, but saturday was great.

It was an awesome event. We had a great time at Tim's II and the bands were fun. As with last year, the real action was on the boats....some of them provided the music in between the band sets and in the evening. The fireworks were spectacular.

I left early Sunday morning, but the word is a big storm blew through and damaged some boats.

It was a great event

Yes, a storm blew thru the following day, but no major mishaps. A few beached boats because people cut anchor lines to prevent some collisions with the strong wind.
No major damages or injuries.
