We went to our first Aquapalooza at Conquest Beach off the Corsica river. Clark's Landing put it together and I thought they did a great job. The food was good, the music was good and the weather was good. I tried to estimate the number of boats and I'll guess slightly over 100.
The location was especially nice. Sand bottom and plenty of 3-4ft water for boats. You could walk ashore or wait for one of the 3 or 4 water taxis. I had never been to this beach area, but will most likely be returning for an overnite.
The trip down the Bay was a little on the rough side. A good wind going and plenty of boat traffic. The Chester was a little calmer, but it doesnt take a whole lot to knock my little boat around
Overall, it was a great day. Thank you Clark's and Thank you Searay.
