Where are all the negative nelly’s now? I have to boast on behalf of our patriots. We have a great country. All the ‘experts’ were wrong...again. Or they were lying.

All this w Blue state governors trying everything to keep their states closed.

Since the start of this thread the DOW gained 100 points!

2.5M jobs added. Stocks up all across construction, airlines, travel and leisure, financials, big tech, on and on. Boy the Libs must be eating their own right now LOL!

On another post I was asking why the lack of boat inventory and inflated prices?

I get it now.

Proof of the resolve of the silent majority for sure. The Blue crowd is so convinced that their media can influence the voters to the progressives' desire to fundamentally change America and what we stand for but thank god their are still enough true conservative patriots that are actually working to maintain our high standard of life. Some of us have lost our jobs but instead of sitting and expecting a hand out we are innovating and reinventing ways to keep the ball moving. The American spirit is alive and well even in the face of challenge.
Carpe Diem

While I am happy as a pig in chit to see today's numbers, my business indicator is flashing bad signs (it's basically monthly sales). It has never failed. Nov and Dec. 2019 it flashed a warning. And again in Feb. Something was going on, then the chit hit the fan. Right now I am showing 2008 numbers for May and June. Maybe we'll see a W?

We ended up getting a portion 'stimulus' (I didn't think we'd get any). Instead of spending it on pizza, we decided to put it in our kids 529. Yeah, that's not what it's designed for, but too bad.

After a sharp decline in March, we leveled off in April. Basically stayed the same for May with only a slight increase but June is off to a GREAT start trending to almost normal incoming sales levels. "Knock on wood"...

I stayed the course and it’s paying off.
Fantastic jobs report and that’s with the extra $600 a week tacked on, WOW!

And these indicators lag 30 days! These aren’t May/June numbers which will even be better.

I’m buying a bigger boat!

I stopped in a camper store today and the guy in parts said they opened back up 2 weeks ago and have sold 60 units so far and it’s still crazy.

Hard to be excited when 30 million+ are still unemployed, the nation is in pain, COVID 19 is still an issue, and the US government is at war with its own people. Also, the stock market is no indicator of the general economy whatsoever and it rising really only benefits the average person minimally.
That said, the numbers do offer a glimpse that an economic recovery is BEGINNING, but there is a long way to go.

Sir I’ll have to disagree. There was suppose to be 11 million more unemployed. Yes there is somethings still going on but the American resolve is still going strong. And yes it excites me.

What war is the US government fighting w it’s people? I see rioters at war and liberal mayors and governors enabling it.

It wasn’t the government that set fire, looted, threw bricks at cops, shot at police and killed a chief.

There it is. Negativity and pessimism. Didn’t take long.

It’s good to be excited over the economic rally that’s underway.

People are getting rehired. Those that aren’t working are enjoying a “pay” increase thanks to taxpayers.

Millions of 401k’s are rebounding.

Almost every sector including airlines are recovering.

Everyone is either buying or looking to buy a boat.

But if someone wants to stay married to a narrative so be it. Doesn’t change the facts.

Well said, nothing wrong with pointing out the positives, problem with the naysayers is often their attitudes lead to self fulfilling prophecy. Looking at the bright side and pointing out the good should be the default!
Oh well some will drink from a half empty glass, I prefer the half full variety

Your opinion does not make it fact, just an opinion, same as mine. Your narrative is no different or more correct than my narrative. Not every protester was violent yet some were violently moved from public property. Were some violent and disruptive, yep, and I am fine with dealing with them with force. Was today a better day than others for the economy, sure, but it is just the beginning to climb back to where we STARTED from. That is not a victory.
The liberal vs conservative agenda sounds uninformed or naive. And I want a fast recovery for the country as much as everyone, just pointing out we are just starting with one day and data point.

You left out your war comments.
And it most certainly is a Liberal anarchist commies vs traditional, independents and conservatives.

Fact. Stock market skyrocketed today over 800 pts.
Fact. Unemployment was expected to report 7m additional jobs lost.
Fact. They were wrong. Economy added 2.5m jobs.

Go ahead. Spin it.

No need to discuss, you clearly know everything. Good luck.
