I have a 1999 sea ray sundancer 400,Since the generator pulls fuel from only one tank i was wandering where the valve was that takes fuel from one tank and dumps in to the other?
Here's my trick...
My gen pulls from the stbd. tank. When the fuel levels get too "uneven", I switch the fuel return line from the port main, over to the starboard tank. This returns the extra fuel from the port tank over to the starboard. Natch, the mains have to be running to do this...
Just be SURE to watch your fuel gauges, lest you overfill the tank... once they're about even, switch the fuel return back to the same tank the main is drawing from.
