The transom is the back end of the boat. First off, what model boat? You quoted a post that said 2007 260 DA. Is that what you have?
In general, there is a main AC breaker between where the cord plugs in and the AC systems in the boat. Like a master switch. In a 260, it is usually next to or above where the shore power cord connects to the boat. It is sometimes in a little, white, plastic box with a lid that flips up. Then, there will be a series of AC breakers in the panel inside the boat. They will say things like "inverter" or "battery charger", " refrigerator", "lights", "outlets", etc. on them. Turn on "inverter" or "battery charger".
