Batteries suck

Executive office doesnt make the laws, can veto, but can be overruled. Work on House and Senate.
Funny how everyone thinks one guy has the power.

See Executive Orders.....

All of my battery powered tools are pretty cool. Small Milwaukee chain saw is great for clearing saplings from snowmobile trails. No mixing gas/oil, no pulling the cord for a 2 stroke motor that has been sitting for 6 months etc. Weedeater, saw, blower all off batteries. No winterizing fuel. Cars? Not yet in this neck of the woods though.

My wife likes to cut the grass but could never start the gas trimmer. So I bought her a battery powered Ego model. That led to an Ego battery powered hedge trimmer. Next will be the blower. None of this was done to save money (way more expensive than the gas powered version), gas or the environment (nothing we can do about the earth warming or cooling). Just convenience.

No pull starting. No filling with fuel and no charging batteries with this fine mower

You don’t think executive orders and the democrat party working for the current douche bag president are not pushing EV’s….. cut the head off the snake…. Or you do you

I forgot about that. Relatively new thing. I mean was always there, but last few admins have exploded its use.
Executive Orders go back to George Washington. They were "intended" to deal with emergent situations that needed immediate action. They were never intended to usurp congress, the courts, or fund outside of the normal authority or feed popular ideas for the purpose of electability as they do these days.

Been running Gr 31 AGMS, Douglas from Battery Plus for last 12 years. First in 2700 Maxum and last 8 in 340 SR. Get solid 5 years out of them. Stbd bank has batteries and is dedicated to stbd engine and house. Port bank is dedicated to Port engine, genny and bow thruster only. Both banks are connected to 2 battery monitors that alarm at 12.2 volts. At that point I either plug in or start genny. Trick to longevity is do not let battery voltage get below 11.5 (EVER). Once they get below 11.5v they will not recover from that discharge and it is downhill from there.
Lots of good info and courses from Pacific Yacht Systems on line. (FREE)

I use Costco marine batteries. I believe they are manufactured by Interstate. Reasonably priced and better warranty than most. We all know how great Costco is with returns.
I have 7 cars and every one of them has a Costco/ Kirkland brand battery. Not unusual for them to last 10 years. I am very pleased with the car batteries.
Replaced all 4 on my 340 2 summers ago. I am expecting the same reliability on the marine batteries but time will tell…
