My boat only has one battery, and I have been reading many of the threads about adding a second battery, but I have a question. I already have a portable Black&Decker battery booster for the car. Any reason I can't use it for emergency backup on the boat? No doubt the second battery is the best and cleanest solution, but this is something I already have. Your thoughts?
