Morning. Getting ready to do my first bellows job this spring. Alpha 1 Gen 2. Mechanically, doesn't look too bad and I have all the tools I need. But the Quicksilver Bellows Adhesive recommends using it when it's above 65 degrees F outside. How firm is that 'recommendation'? Here in Western Washington we're still pretty cool during the days, and pleasure-boating is still a couple months out. Just getting anxious to get things done, I guess.

I'd follow the instructions. This is something you don't want to do over again back to back or have one pop off while you are out and down you go.

May I suggest get a pop up or make some type of plastic tarped tent and put a heater in there for a while. it will protect your work and make for a nicer working environment.

I really understand the significance of getting this right, water needs to stay outside my boat! I certainly could build a mini tent if I get impatient. It's already parked under a carport, so containing heat would be the only need.
