What's that system cost?
Are you storing in the water or on the hard?Just bought a Twin Hornet for the bilge. Comes on automatically at 38 or 40. I want a heater to put in the bilge that will keep it toasty warm. Suggestions? Would be nice to keep the bilge around 60 or so.

BoatSafe kicks in at 55 degrees.Just bought a Twin Hornet for the bilge. Comes on automatically at 38 or 40. I want a heater to put in the bilge that will keep it toasty warm. Suggestions? Would be nice to keep the bilge around 60 or so.
I should have installed block heaters on the engines but ran out of time.
Thought for my QSM11s a minimum of 250w was required and some even recommend the 500w per pad?
Remember, we also get some longer lasting lower temps as opposed to Mark's slip, especially since he is in a sweet boat house.Been looking all over for these! Just ordered 2 of the 250w version for my QSM11s. Pretty sure there is plenty of room to attach to the bottom of the pad. Just hope the poor cord is long enough, especially for the starboard engine.
Forgot that the QSM11 holds 7.5 gallons or about 30q of oil.

How do you get power in your engine compartment for a heater? I have a cockpit outlet though using it will require me to crack the engine hatch. I paid the service shop to hardwire the engine compartment, adding a panel breaker, on the 330DA years ago. No time for that right now.
