My gasket keeps falling out! We pulled some screws out of the door frame and used those to keep the gasket in, but I need to reglue it. Any suggestions? I'm guessing I'll have to replace the gasket at some point so I don't want it to be permanent! On the other hand, buying a $50 gasket for a 21 year old fridge doesn't make sense either!

Isn't that the stuff for reattaching the Sea Ray name plates too?

I don't know but I use it for security frames I make for refrigerators that hold narcotics and we can't drill into the refridgerator door frame and that stuff sticks like there's no tomorrow.

I had similar issues with the 3" wide black foam insulation around the engine hatch on my 2001 270 Sundancer. I used NAPA yellow weatherstrip adhesive in the tube, not the spray can glue. It is probably made by 3M for NAPA. Once you put something on with this stuff, it rarely comes off.

Doesn't that gasket fit into a slot all the way around the door? I have thought about using silicone (sparingly)

Yes, it fits in a slot. Mine fits, but doesn't stick very well after 21 years. I'll see if I can use silicone or maybe some of the weatherstrip adhesive. I have contact cement, but I know I'd never get it IN the slot the way that stuff works. I'll give it a whirl and see what happens.
