Hi all,
I own a 2007 SD220 (a recent purchase), which, like most pleasure boats, has various compartments to stow things. I've noticed, however, its challenging to keep things stowed in an organized manner, while keeping accessibility in mind.
The SD has a tiny integrated cooler at the bow, which is fine for a couple of people, but not adequate for 3 or more. I hacked the cooler problem by using some awkward storage space under the back seat. (Which I'll share).
I'm also thinking about making some improvements, such as replacing incandescent lighting with LED lighting, for example.

Anyhow, I thought it would be both informative and fun to have us share our best practices and ideas on these topics.

Welcome to the cult, would love to see some pictures of your new cooler area.

We find that built-in cooler a little too small as well. I use it as a rope locker.

That's a great idea! My step daughter loves ising the little cooler for some reason, so not an option for me.

I'll post the pics soon, but be prepared to be underwhelmed. Lol. I used thing we had on hand, and it was a rush job for the immediate need this weekend.

I’m Underwhelmed every time I take a shower!:D:p:cool:

I added mesh fabric with a zipper under the bimini top for life jacket storage. The mesh allows them to dry.

That looks like a factory upgrade. Nice!
