Us bases in syria and the us embassy in iraq are hammered by iranian proxies at a daily basis and the goverment , risking lifes of us soldiers , is sitting it out and doing nothing.

Iran dictates the rules and joe is dickslapped by them .

No idea what is going on .

Every time something happens it seems you want the US to drop bombs and blow shit up. There's plenty of potential other problems we need to be ready for, don't need to touch anything off in the middle east with Iran.

I don't think that would take bullets or bombs. Just some " Saber rattling" from someone they don't own.

i think currently the other option is to keep US troops being bombed and motivate the other side to even increase since they see they will simply get away with this .

Several sources report now that netanyahu informed biden that if USA will not deal with the houthis in red sea military , israel will .

That comes after some days ago USA requested israel to let them instead israel deal with the houthis ( and after israel learned that biden meant with 'USA will deal with the houthis' simply to do nothing and let civilian and military ships in the red sea be attacked and hijacked ) .

Maybe Biden is trying to prevent Isreal from biting off more than it can chew. Within a couple days of Oct 7 Isreal was already asking the US to send them more bombs and missiles.;)

that may be , but so what ? Let the houthis paralyse the red sea to the suez canal ? This may have an massive impact on global markets .

If the effects are global maybe more members of the global community need to join in to guard the shipping. Maybe Germany should send some ships down there to be escorts, I see France is participating.

There are a lot of NATO ships out there , afaik also two german frigates and several support ships .

But since USA is the major military power in NATO everybody looks what the us president is doing . And he is doing nothing .

Recently another chemical tanker was struck by a houthi ( iranian supplied ) missile .
