When coming up on plane my bilge pump indicator light comes on and stays on. So I checked it out and float will cause pump to run but does not pump water out (not a lot of water but enough to cause float to rise and turn pump on). I manually moved float up and down which caused pump to go off & on. After this sequence the pump started to pump. So pump itself seems to lose it's prime. I decided to change out pump and want to know how it comes off the hull as I reached back (not easily) and it seemed secure to hull. Any advice will be helpful with hose etc.....:huh:
